The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) requires all providers participating in Georgia Families to obtain a Georgia Medicaid Identification Number at each location where they are providing services to Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids members.

Claims will deny for any provider who does not have a valid and unique Medicaid ID number on file.

1. Go to the state’s Georgia Health Partnership website and register for your Medicaid ID number and/or add any locations missing an ID number;

2. Provide the Medicaid ID number you receive from DCH to WellCare’s Provider Operations Department at (678) 327-0939. 

If you do not have a unique Medicaid Identification Number on file for each location, you may register for one using any of the methods listed on the attached notice. Please note that online enrollment is typically the fastest approach.
